Fairfax reporters Richard Baker and Nick McKenzie have won this year's prestigious George Munster Award for Independent Journalism for their series The Money Makers, a vigorous investigation exposing the Reserve Bank of Australia's role in an international corruption scandal involving bribes worth millions.

Cycling in the news - An Australian investigation
This project was initiated by University of Sydney Clinical Associate Professor Chris Rissel to investigate portrayals of cyclists in the Australian press. Despite growing evidence of the health and environmental benefits of cycling, a number of media outlets appeared to be publishing negative comments about cyclists and cycling.
