Information and Knowledge Management
Information management and knowledge management both involve the understanding of information, its organisation and its application.
Information management is the study of how ideas, knowledge and information are created, represented and communicated in social and business contexts.
Knowledge management involves the design, implementation and review of social and technological activities and processes to improve the creating, sharing, and applying or using of knowledge within an organisational framework.
Over 25 years our academic staff have built strong bonds with industry and government, designing the course to keep pace with changing needs and providing a balance of theory and practice. The high quality of our courses will appeal to people who are currently working in the field or to people starting out their careers. Information is at the heart of everything we do in the 21st century.
