Media Arts and Production
UTS are a leading provider of education in moving image, video, sound and convergent media, renowned for the creative talent and award-winning success of its staff, students and graduates. Recent student achievements include 2009 Tropfest winner, with screenings and awards at high-profile festivals around the world including Cannes, the AFIs, IF and AIMIA Awards, Berlinale, Arcipelago, SFF, MIFF, International Emmys and the Academy Awards.
Students in the program can develop professional production portfolios on state-of-the-art equipment, while gaining a critical perspective on media arts and contemporary culture.

- Student have the opportunity to enter the UTS Golden Eye awards, a biennial multi award winning and prize-giving event celebrating some of the best work from Media Arts and Production and Master of Animation students.
- Students have access to cutting-edge and regularly updated production facilities and equipment including: purpose-built digital sound studios and editing suites, A vid and Final Cut Pro digital video editing suites, an optical printer, Oxberry animation stands, HD digital video cameras, sound recorders, a radio studio and a television studio/shooting stage, portable lighting and all necessary accessories. Other facilities include a computer lab with Mac Pro workstations running software such as After Effects, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash.
