Undergraduate scholarships

UTS: Engineering scholarship program is not only designed to provide financial support, it also promotes your development as a future leader in engineering through partnerships between the university and engineering industry.

You will have the opportunity to meet industry leaders early on in your career and establish relationships with them.

Scholarships are available to you if you can demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, leadership, creativity and communication skills, as well as a commitment to a career in engineering.

Equity scholarships

These scholarships provide you with financial support if you have experienced long-term educational disadvantage/financial hardship due to any of the following circumstances:

• personal illness/disability,

• rural or isolated school,
• difficult family circumstances, or
• Indigenous Australian descent.

Faculty of Engineering and IT PhD Scholarships

We offer students an exciting, thriving research environment to work in and our focus is on innovative, applied and practical research.

Sixteen PhD Scholarships will be offered in 2012. The benefits include a tax-exempt stipend of $23,728 per annum (2012 rate) for 3 years for a PhD candidate and 2 years for a Masters candidate.
