ATN - University of Waterloo Researcher Exchange Program

03 Mar 2010

UTS researchers are encouraged to apply for international collaborative research funding under the following program:
The ATN-University of Waterloo Researcher Exchange Program was established in 2009 to provide ATN and UW researchers with incentives to build collaboration in areas of mutual strategic interest.
The Program will provide support for researcher exchange between universities of the ATN and the University of Waterloo (Ontario) to undertake a period of research activity aligned with REP priority areas.
The priority areas identified for 2010 are: renewable energy, environment, climate change, water, health, sustainable engineering and nanotechnology. Other areas will be considered if there is a demonstrated rationale for collaboration.
The Program provides funding for travel, accommodation, living and other research costs associated with proposed exchanges and will normally involve the home institution paying travel costs and the host institution covering in-country costs.
Successful applications will involve exchange visits between Canada and Australia of up to 2 months.
