How do I apply? What do I need to do?

  1. View the list of 2012 Honours projects (coming soon).
  2. Email or ring Associate Professor Barbara Stuart (Chemistry) or Prof Claude Roux (Forensic Science) to make an appointment to discuss the projects you are interested in.
  3. Download and complete a UTS Direct Application Form Autumn 2012 (PDF 307Kb) for the admission to do honours at UTS: Science. Follow the instructions on the form. You will also need to submit a Faculty of Science Supplementary Application Form (PDF, 347kB). This form helps the School know where your interest lies and assists the School in allocating resources for your program of study. The Direct Application form will provide you with the closing dates for application and how and where to lodge the forms. Your potential supervisor will assist you in completing any other necessary supporting documentation and ensure that this documentation reaches the committee assessing your application. You need only submit the Direct Application Form and the supplementary application form.

Importance notice:
Please be aware that submission of this form is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee placement in one of the CFS Honours Programs. The School’s honours committee will meet to assess your application. You will be informed of the result by the date indicated on the supplementary application form. Please keep a copy of your forms for your records.
