How do I apply? What do I need to do?

  1. View the list of 2012 Honours projects (PDF, 418kB).
  2. Come along to the Honours information session (TBA) and meet with potential honours supervisors. You will still need to arrange a subsequent meeting with supervisors offering projects of interest to you in order to discuss possible projects in detail.
  3. Talk to supervisors about the projects you are interested in. Choose a supervisor and topic and get their consent to act as a supervisor. If you’re not sure about your choice, you can put down a short list of preferences. If you’re undecided put know the area you want to work in, you can still apply.
  4. Download and complete a UTS Direct Application Form Autumn 2012 (PDF 307Kb) for the admission to do honours at UTS. Follow the instructions on the form. You will also need to submit a Faculty of Science Supplementary Application Form (PDF, 347kB). This form helps the School know where your interest lies and assists the School in allocating resources for your program of study. The Direct Application form will provide you with the closing dates for application and how and where to lodge the forms.

Importance notice:
Please be aware that submission of this form is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee placement in one of the PAM Honours Programs. The School’s honours committee will meet to assess your application. You will be informed of the result by the date indicated on the supplementary application form. Please keep a copy of your forms for your records.
