Honours degrees

Honours is the first step towards a career in research. It equips you with improved career prospects in industries within your chosen field. The year is devoted to a research project conducted under the supervision of an academic staff. Not only does it provide advanced level knowledge base and experience, it is also proof that you can plan and organise your work, find solutions to problems, capable of working independently, communicate ideas and results both verbally and written.

All Bachelor graduates can add value to their degree with a one-year UTS: Science's honours degree. Most importantly, Honours at UTS: Science enables you to work with experienced researchers on projects that addresses current issues and will benefit the community.
