Design of Harvesting System to Save Water
Eleanor McKeough an environmental engineering examines ways of collecting, storing and re-using stormwater in fountains and rainforest areas at the Wondakiah apartment complex overlooking Oyster Bay. Wondakiah, which has 297 units, uses drinking water for its fountains and garden. Eleanor designed a water harvesting system to save about 80 kilolitres of drinking water every day.
